Applications for Midyear Entry to participate January – April 2027 are due November 15, 2026.
Please review all eligibility, requirements, and FAQs below carefully prior to requesting application materials, including required audition excerpts.
There is no fee to request audition materials. An application fee of $85 is due only upon completed application submission.

Audition Excerpts
Excerpts demonstrate a student's readiness to take on the challenges unique to chamber music, and are distributed upon request for the following instruments:

Each excerpt is selected from a major work in from standard repertoire, categorized broadly in levels 1 through 4 of increasing technical mastery and musical maturity. Applicants are only required to prepare the Level 1 excerpt, but may elect to pursue more advanced repertoire during the season by preparing up to the appropriate level excerpt(s) in their instrument packet of their choosing. Accepted students are assigned repertoire conservatively based on the highest quality submitted excerpt.
Once excerpts are prepared, applicants may request the application submission form for ensemble consideration.
